Old School 40

The bear brothers are not receptive to Joe's request. Joe slash's through their jeep. Fair Dinkum throws his giant boomerang, Joe cuts it in half.

Conspiracies!!!
Bean thinks he's stumbled upon some corruption within the Blue Circle Special Forces. Valid theories or the ramblings of a madman??? Weigh in at the Muthas' forum.
Hellboy
I wasn't even aware that there was some Hellboy animation in the works when I stumbled across Hellboy: Sword of Storms stored in my DVR (younger brother is always up on Cartoon Network happenings). IMHO it's way better than the theatrical movie. As far as I could tell, it's a totally new Hellboy story that deals with the typical Hellboy subject matter (occult and mystical type stuff - in this case, Japanese folklore). I'm not a big enough Hellboy head to determine whether these straight to DVD joints run with the comics, the movies or are a separate universe all together. If I had to bet, I'd say it's closer to the comic.
Mike Mignola's style was adapted pretty well for animation. It's not exactly the same of course, but it's close enough. The animation itself was solid. Fights were entertaining and in fact, surprisingly gory for a Toonami airing. There were also curse words (crap and damn). All good stuff. If you're into the animation process, this is kind of cool.

FIXED
Anywho, the meetings ends. Ruroni Joe shows up a little late. He wants the bounty info so he asks the bear brothers for the scoop. Meanwhile, Buck can't read. So she needs either Joe or the bear brothers to tell her what the paper says.

Trinity Blood
I'm back, and better than EVER! Well not really better than ever, but just as good at least.
Is anyone watching Trinity Blood? I've commented on it before and after seeing a few more episodes, my opinion hasn't changed: MEDIOCRE with a little dash of gay. I'll take my anime violence well animated, not implied, thank you very much!
And now, some implied violence.

heh...well...ummm

A sneak peek of next weeks comic
3 weeks ago someone asked me about my update schedule. I replied that I've been pretty consistent getting a new page up by late Thursday night, so post-Friday morning was a good time to check for updates. So of course the following week the update is late. And now this week, there is no update. Maybe they'll be a yummy Halloween treat to make up for it. The is NOT the precursor to a multi-week hiatus.

Old School 36

The little guy sitting on the big guy's shoulder says that the bounty hunters look like a bunch of pussies. The mimis take umbrage with this so the guy with the monocle gives the guy in short shorts (Cutter) a death look ala Orochimaru.

Little late this week
Sorry, kids. New comic probably won't be up until sometime Saturday. Earlier is a possibility, but don't hold your breath.

Old School 34

We got some cameos in the top panel. From left to right: a black mage from Final Fantasy, some guy I made up that looks remarkably like Dosu from Naruto (although I could swear that I made him up before I ever read the ninja comic), Cloud, Krillin, Buck (a major character) and Spike Speagal. Under that we see Madam C and Big Willy. The lemonade guy is there too.
A limo shows up.
