Chapter 2 is over!

Don't worry, that's not the only update this week. Chapter 3 begins on Friday.

In case you were wondering: that pile in the background is Earl, not Ralph.

Old School 69

Scene switch mid-page here from the mansion to back at the motel with Buck and Andi. They're watching Fight Fight Superstar, a reality tv show that parodied American Idol. I was worried that the show wouldn't be on anymore when I finished this book... Anywho, on the show, teams of contestants compete in various events that usually involve some kind of combat.

Fun Fact: Fight Fight Superstar was also the runner-up title of this comic. But it lost to Bad Ass Muthas because my concept for the comic was an ensemble cast of Bad Muthas and their various adventures, related and unrelated. I didn't want to lock the title down to one plot element.

Page 46 - Oh Snap!

Oh no he didn't! That Ralph's sure got a lot of tricks up his sleeve.

I'm surprised I actually got this done today, I've been quite the busy boy.

The players go through several trials and tribulations.

I remember when I wrote this, and I wasn't sure how long it was going to take me to finish the thing, I was worried that the block-pushing puzzle joke in the first panel wouldn't be relevant. HA. Tell that to the 45 minutes I spent pushing shit around the Yeti's mansion in Twilight Princess.

Howard Stern meets Leeroy Jenkins

One of Howard's slaves must have discovered the now ancient Leeroy Jenkins video on YouTube and figured it would make for some good discussion on Tuesday's show. I'm surprised Howard even gave a shit. But, in spite of having no idea what a World of Warcraft is, The Howard actually devoted two separate segments to talking about the video. Psycho-fan, Mark Friggins, has a synopsis of the discussion for you, just scroll down a bit.

Important and exciting news? Hardly. Just thought it was interesting.

Thoughts to ponder: Each day, it becomes a bit more apparent that the Stern Show's main players are disconnected old-fart millionaires. That's one thing that terrestrial radio has going for it - the djs are barely celebrities, so average Joes like me can relate to them. Too bad they're all fucking obnoxious dweebs. Especially Opey and Anthony, who are almost as bad as Preston and Steve, but hopefully, most of you don't know what the fuck I'm talking about. Amen. (Kidd Chris is cool though...once you get used to him)

Another interesting note is that Howard TV producer Scott Depace said his Xbox live user name during the wrap-up show. I don't know if that's an invite for harassment or what, just thought it was surprising.

Update Schedule

Probably due to my intimidating good looks, fan-mail is a rare thing at Bad Ass Muthas! Inc. Most of our inbox, other than boner pill ads, has to do with the update schedule.

TRANSFERRING MAD KNOWLEDGE.........................

Old school stuff is updated every Monday and Wednesday... Hahah as if we gave a shit right?! Onto the big cheese:

I used to aim to update the main comic every Thursday. Lately, Friday has been more realistic. This week I wasn't set until Saturday. Sometimes I miss a week completely. Holidays totally fuck shit up. In any case, I try to post some words on the news page if I'm running late.

In summation: Updating once a week is my goal. The best day to check for it is Saturday (you know, because a "Friday" update might not happen until later in the night).

love,
Dave Ryan

Page 45: Smak! Attack

I still have some coloring to do on the latest page. It should be up some time later today (Friday). If not, it'll definitely be up sometime Saturday.

EDIT: Told ya so! You may have noticed that I play around with the way I color and draw lines a bit...or maybe you didn't. In any case, comments are welcome.

Some tricky images here. I hope you kids can follow the action.

EDIT: Hmmm, that last panel is pretty confusing, I think I might try to fix it up a bit. What say you, heroes?

EDIT EDIT: I changed it. You can see the old page by voting at TWC.

I wonder how many people think the fat guy is popping a boner in the first panel.
